For a month — or while you breathe

Short stays with the full Golden Hands care setup — from one month: post-surgery recovery, cover while the family travels, or a no-pressure trial before any long-term decision.

When families use respite

Three reasons people come for a short stay

After surgery

A hip replacement, a cardiac procedure — recovery with nursing, physiotherapy and a doctor's weekly eye, before going home strong.

While you travel

A long trip abroad shouldn't mean weeks of worry. Your parent stays cared for, fed, and socially engaged until you're back.

To try before deciding

The honest way to answer "will she like it?" — a stay with no long-term commitment. Many of our residents started exactly this way.

"Can we trial before deciding long-term?"

Yes — and we encourage it. A respite stay is the truthful test: your parent lives the actual rhythm, eats the actual food, meets the actual people. If it's not right, you've lost nothing. If it is, the move has already half-happened.

"Does a short stay get the same care?"

Identical. Same care team, same doctor cadence, same meals, same activities. A pre-admission assessment still happens — even for a month, care starts with knowing the person.

Respite stays
Minimum one month

Priced by stay length and care needs — confirmed up front, before the stay begins. Minimum stay is one month, so your parent has time to genuinely settle.
